Playing in the WNBA All-Star Game is one thing, but tweeting live about how you and your teammates are playing from the sidelines at the same time? That is a completely different achievement.

First-time All-Star and Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale added a “social media specialist” to her already impressive résumé on Wednesday and tweeted on the sidelines of the game in Las Vegas.

The best part about her Twitter fingers coming off was her shooting hands. She lost 12 points in the first half – the most of any players on Team WNBA or Team USA – while also spending time on her phone. We are very impressed.

Let’s go in half to 1 let’s get it!

Ogunbowale was later named the game’s MVP after losing 26 points – the fourth highest in an all-star game in WNBA history – when Team WNBA beat Team USA 93-85.

Even when the game went into fourth with 66 points, Ogunbowale wasn’t done firing buckets – and tweets. Based on her last tweet after the game ended, it might not be her last.

I have to tweet live more often
