Chauncey Billup’s chief will get head teaching at Portland Path Blazerss

Chauncey Billups has emerged as the front runner being offered the Portland Trail Blazers head coaching job, sources report to ESPN.

Billups, 44, met with Portland leadership, including franchise chair Jody Allen and basketball company president Neil Olshey, in Seattle Wednesday, sources said.

Billups has a longstanding relationship with franchise superstar Damian Lillard, and the two have spoken frequently throughout the Portland search process, sources said.

Olshey’s history with Billups dates back to her time with the Clippers from 2011 to 2013. As General Manager of Clippers, Olshey claimed Billups after the Knicks pardoned him in 2011 – and had him on the team’s roster for two seasons. Olshey has long considered Billups to be one of the best leaders he has ever met in the NBA.

Terry Stotts left Portland earlier this month after making eight straight playoffs in the past four years, including three first-round exits.

Brooklyn Nets assistant Mike D’Antoni and San Antonio Spurs assistant Becky Hammon also met with Allen and Olshey in Seattle, sources said.

Billups is a five-time NBA All-Star and MVP of the 2004 NBA Finals as a member of the Detroit Pistons.

Lengthy-Awaited UFO Report Opens the Door Wider to Sharing Unusual Aerial Sightings

After months of anticipation, U.S. intelligence experts have released a report citing 18 incidents since 2004 in which unidentified flying objects — or unidentified aerial phenomena, to use the Pentagon’s term — appeared to demonstrate breakthrough technologies.

The nine-page, unclassified version of the report doesn’t describe the incidents in detail, and doesn’t attribute them to aliens. But it does say they’re not linked to existing U.S. military technologies.

The point of the report, produced by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in response to a congressional mandate, is to assess the potential threat posed by the anomalous aerial phenomena reported by U.S. military fliers over the years, whether you call them UFOs or UAPs.

Intelligence experts said they didn’t have enough data to get a firm fix on the nature of 143 out of 144 UAP reports that were filed between 2004 and this March. The one case they said they could resolve “with high confidence” was attributed to a large, deflating balloon.

Their conclusion was that UAP sightings should get more attention.

“UAP pose a hazard to safety of flight and could pose a broader danger if some instances represent sophisticated collection against U.S. military activities by a foreign government or demonstrate a breakthrough aerospace technology by a potential adversary,” the report said. The experts said they “currently lack data” to indicate whether any of the anomalous incidents actually pose such threats.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who spearheaded the push to get the report, hailed its release and agreed with its conclusions.

“For years, the men and women we trust to defend our country reported encounters with unidentified aircraft that had superior capabilities, and for years their concerns were often ignored and ridiculed,” he said in a statement. “This report is an important first step in cataloging these incidents, but it is just a first step.”

Rubio said the Department of Defense and the U.S. intelligence community “have a lot of work to do before we can actually understand whether these aerial threats present a serious national security concern. “

The Pentagon has been involved in UFO studies for decades, going back to the aftermath of the 1947 Roswell UFO incident.

For decades, such incidents were traditionally written off as misinterpretations of run-of-the-mill atmospheric or astronomical phenomena, or occasionally as stray sightings of aerial operations for military purposes. But UFO reports have been taken more seriously in recent years, thanks to the work of a hush-hush Pentagon task force that came to light in 2017.

Revelations about the task force, and about a series of anomalous videos captured by Navy jets, prompted Rubio and other lawmakers to seek an official report from the intelligence office.

The report said most of the reported anomalies probably do represent actual physical objects rather than mere glitches, given that 80 of the 144 anomalies cited in the report showed up on multiple sensors.

“There are probably multiple types of UAP requiring different explanations based on the range of appearances and behaviors described in the reporting,” the report said. The basic types could be broken down into “airborne clutter” such as birds, drones or debris; natural atmospheric phenomena; developmental programs conducted by the U.S. government or commercial industries; foreign adversary systems; and a catch-all bin for “other” phenomena.

The report highlights 18 incidents, described in 21 reports, where observers reported unusual movement patterns or flight characteristics.

“Some UAP appeared to remain stationary in winds aloft, move against the wind, maneuver abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernable means of propulsion,” the report said. “In a small number of cases, military aircraft systems processed radio frequency (RF) energy associated with UAP sightings.”

Those cases will be the subject of further analysis, the report said.

According to the report, the Pentagon task force will take steps to expand its database of unidentified aerial phenomena, including anomalies reported to civilian authorities. To deal with a bigger database, the task force plans to take advantage of data analytics, including artificial intelligence tools such as machine learning, to identify and classify UAP reports more efficiently.

The report said the task force “has indicated that additional funding for research and development could further the future study of the topics laid out in this report.”

In advance of the report’s release, U.S. government officials were cagey about discussing whether any UAP reports could be traced to alien technology. “We have no clear indications that there is any non-terrestrial explanation for them — but we will go wherever the data takes us,” one unnamed official told NBC News.

Now that the public version of the report has been released, Michael W. Hall, director and founder of a Seattle-based UFO study group known as UFO i Team, said the outcome fell short of his expectations.

“They’re limiting their study set,” Hall said. “All of the other testimony from civilians is thrown out the window, and of course the aviators aren’t going to say much.”

He didn’t expect today’s report to attribute any of the UAPs to aliens, but he did expect it to take a “baby step” by acknowledging that alien explanations couldn’t be ruled out.

“This is not even the baby step,” Hall said. “This is just the baby lifting its head up.”

The Way forward for Sustainability: What’s Subsequent in Inexperienced Tech

The world of clean energy is evolving rapidly. Solar power systems in the US rose 43 percent in 2020, and the price of solar energy fell nearly 90 percent between 2010 and 2020. The output of wind turbines also rose by a record 14.2 gigawatts in the past year alone. Additionally, electric vehicle sales have grown steadily, and it is expected that 10 percent of all vehicles sold will be electric vehicles by 2025. All in all, the green tech revolution is in full swing.

But these are certainly promising developments, but they are hardly enough to slow down climate change. To significantly improve the problem, we need to scale and improve these technologies. So what does the future of green energy look like? We spoke to environmental researcher, writer, lecturer, and entrepreneur Johnathan Koomey for some insight.

Solar

According to Koomey, solar costs will almost certainly continue to fall in the coming years – but perhaps differently than expected.

“We’re getting to a point where the cost of solar panels per home and even a large solar array in the desert or wherever isn’t the biggest factor,” Koomey says. “Now that solar panels are so super cheap, there is a shift to focus on these other costs and try to get rid of them.”

These costs can include labor costs, the cost of obtaining permits, and other factors. Koomey says we need to significantly reduce licensing costs to meet our clean energy goals.

Aside from these costs, we are also seeing promising new innovations in the solar industry. It’s great that solar panels have gotten so cheap, but it would be even better if they were more effective too, and researchers are looking for ways to do that.

One way to make a solar panel more effective is to increase the amount of light it can capture. Researchers have discovered in recent years that you can layer different materials on the panel and capture a wider range of wavelengths of light, meaning it can capture more solar energy. That means you don’t need as many panels to generate the amount of energy you need.

“There is so much solar radiation on earth that we are really only limited by our cleverness,” says Koomey. “We’re not limited by solar.”

Much like solar power, Koomey says, wind power is also getting cheaper, and the way we approach wind power is beginning to evolve.

“The biggest development in the US for wind, in my opinion, is the opening up of offshore wind power as an opportunity,” says Koomey.

Offshore wind is widespread in Europe, and it seems that it could become pretty common in the US soon. Given the enormous amount of space available and the relatively constant amount of wind blowing from the Pacific Ocean, offshore wind power has the potential to dramatically increase US renewable capacity.

Turbine technology is also making progress. In addition to the usual three-bladed turbines, engineers are starting to research and develop new systems that capture energy more efficiently.

One such idea is large scale vertical axis wind turbines (VAWTs). These turbines form a kind of vertical soccer ball and rotate on a rotor. It has been proven that they generate 15 percent more electricity than conventional wind turbines and are also easier to maintain. Their greatest advantage is a lower center of gravity, which means they can be built much larger than wind turbines with a horizontal axis.

There are also ideas for generating wind power without any turbines. The Vortex Bladeless is essentially a pillar that vibrates in the wind to generate electricity, while Google’s Makani Energy uses an airplane-like kite to generate electricity that can be carried anywhere the wind blows.

Batteries

When it comes to batteries that power electric vehicles and are increasingly found in people’s homes, those costs are also falling sharply, according to Koomey. He says lithium-ion batteries follow the drop in solar panel prices we’ve seen over the years, but they’re “kind of at an earlier stage.”

“When it comes to electric cars, the battery is the biggest cost problem. It will change the economy in a compelling way, ”he suggests.

Lithium-ion batteries remain an industry standard for electric vehicles and the devices we use, but we see promising advances in grid-scale energy storage solutions that allow us to store solar and wind energy and use it later. Flow batteries, for example, are becoming increasingly popular in countries like California and Texas, where demand for electricity often exceeds production capacity. Other technologies like advanced compressed air storage and gravity storage are also on the rise.

Information technology

In addition to the physical infrastructure that underpins wind, solar, and battery technology, information technology will also be a big part of the future of green technology, according to Koomey. The more we can digitize and automate the electrical systems in our homes, office buildings, infrastructure and more, the more energy efficient we can make these things.

“Information technology enables us to collect data and react to the data in real time in order to optimize our systems. It enables us to replace parts with smarts, ”says Koomey. “There will be a movement towards the virtualization of our physical infrastructure.”

It seems the future is electric, and it’s moving in that direction faster than anyone predicted. Koomey suggests that these technologies keep getting cheaper and the simple economics of the situation will drive their adoption. In decades to come, we may scoff at the notion that we ever burned dirty fuel to power our homes, cars, and everything else.

Yankees grant a 70-year-old girl’s 60-year want; function a volunteer bat woman

Some things are worth waiting for.

Such is the case for 71-year-old Gwen Goldman, who in 1961, at the age of 10, wrote a letter to then-GM Roy Hamey asking if she would become a bat girl for the team.

On June 25, 2021, the Yankees announced that they would do so as part of their HOPE Week initiative against the Angels on Monday, June 28.

In 1961, 10-year-old Gwen Goldman wrote a letter to the Yankees expressing her dream of being a bat girl. The answer she received from the GM at the time is still hanging on her living room wall.

Goldman kept the letter at her home, and Goldman’s daughter checked in earlier this year to brief the Yankees of the situation. It wasn’t long before the Yankees decided to rectify the situation.

The Yankees’ annual HOPE Week (Helping Others Persevere and Excel) begins Monday and puts Goldman in full charge of a batman, including a place in the shelter and all associated duties and responsibilities.

Better late than never, that’s for sure.

The Actual Value of Wind and Photo voltaic – Watts Up With That?

I keep reading how wind and solar are finally cheaper than fossil fuels … and every time I’ve read it, my urban legend detector rings like crazy.

It rings in part because the market is very efficient at replacing energy sources based on their cost. Here, for example, is the story of kerosene, emphasis mine:

When a clean-burning kerosene lamp invented by Michael Dietz appeared on the market in 1857, its effect on the whaling industry was immediate. Kerosene, known in those days at “Coal Oil”, was easy to produce, cheap, smelled better than animal-based fuels when burned, and did not spoil on the shelf as whale oil did. The public abandoned whale oil lamps almost overnight. By 1860, at least 30 kerosene plants were in production in the United States, and whale oil was ultimately driven off the market. When sperm oil dropped to 40 cents a gallon in 1895, due to lack of demand, refined petroleum, which was very much in demand, sold for less than 7 cents a gallon. …

My question was, if wind and solar are so cheap, why are they not replacing traditional sources overnight?

So I decided to look into the question. The main number used to judge how expensive an energy source might be is called the “LCOE”, the Levelized Cost Of Energy. It takes into account all of the costs for new power plants—capital costs, overhead and maintenance costs, fuel costs, financing costs, the whole gamut of expenses for that power source. Well … except for one cost, but we’ll come to that later.

Here is the latest information on the LCOE for various energy sources, from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) 2021 report entitled Levelized Costs of New Generation Resources.

And yes, that clearly says that onshore wind and standalone solar are cheaper than any other source of energy.

I looked at that, and my urban legend detector started flashing red and the needle pegged out … why?

Because of the numbers in the first column, the “capacity factor”. The capacity factor for an electricity generation system is what percentage of the “nameplate” generation it actually produces. For example, if the nameplate on a windmill says it will generate 16 gigawatt-hours (GWh, or 109 watt-hours) per year if it ran 24/7/365, and due to the intermittent nature of wind it only actually generates a quarter of that, then its “capacity factor” would be 25%.

I looked at the claimed capacity factors for wind and solar, which according to the US EIA folks are 40%+ and 30% respectively, and I thought “No way. Not possible.”

Now, part of the error in the solar capacity factor is explained by footnote 4, viz:

4Technology is assumed to be photovoltaic (PV) with single-axis tracking. The solar hybrid system is a single-axis PV system coupled with a four-hour battery storage system.

Why is that a problem? Well, because tracking systems need to move each individual solar panel at a steady rate during the day so the panels always face the sun. Then, at the end of the day, they rotate the panel back to its starting position. Unlike fixed systems, these require a complex installation of motors, time sensors, bearings, levers, and the like to rotate the panels.

And because such mechanical “single-axis tracking” systems are expensive to install, expensive to operate, expensive to maintain, and subject to damage from weather, it is very rare for a grid-scale solar farm to use such systems. Almost without exception, they are fixed-angle systems with the panels mounted securely to a (theoretically) wind-proof frame like those at the Topaz Lake Solar Farm shown below.

If you imagine the necessary motors, gears, levers, and other mechanisms required for a single-axis tracking system to be able to rotate each and every one of those nine million! solar panels to follow the sun throughout the day, you’ll understand why fixed solar panels are the norm for grid-scale installations.

In any case, I thought I’d find the real data on this question of capacity factors. The amazing source, Our World In Data, has all of the information needed. Here is the current average of all of the world’s real-world wind and solar installations in the most recent year for which we have data, 2019.

As you can see, the US IEA is way off in fantasyland about the capacity factors of wind and solar. In both cases, they are claiming far larger capacity factors than we have out here in the real world.

Now, in Figure 1, they claimed levelized costs as follows, in US cents per kilowatt-hour:

  • Combined-cycle gas — 3.45¢ per kWh
  • Solar — 2.90¢ per kWh
  • Onshore Wind — 3.15¢ per kWh

That’s the basis for the claims that renewables are now the cheapest sources of electricity. However, given the actual capacity factors, in reality these costs are:

  • Combined-cycle gas — 3.45¢ per kWh
  • Solar — 6.21¢ per kWh
  • Onshore Wind — 4.97¢ per kWh

“Cheapest sources”? No way.

And as for offshore wind, they’re just as far off. They claim 11.5¢ per kWh, but the new Block Island offshore wind farm is charging the utility, not the customer but the utility, 24.4¢ per kWh …

And finally, there is a huge elephant in the US EIA room … backup power. This is the missing cost I mentioned above.

If you add a gigawatt of unreliable intermittent renewable wind or solar energy to a system, you also have to add an additional gigawatt of some kind of reliable dispatchable energy, where “dispatchable” means you can turn it up or down at will to replace renewables when there is no wind or sun. The US EIA levelized cost document linked above does mention the need for backup … but it doesn’t even touch the cost of backup. All it says is:

Because load must be continuously balanced generating units with the capability to vary output to follow demand (dispatchable technologies) generally have more value to a system than less flexible units (nondispatchable technologies) that use intermittent resources to operate. The LCOE values for dispatchable and non-dispatchable technologies are listed separately in the following tables because comparing them must be done carefully.

They say that dispatchable technologies have “more value to a system” … but they fail to mention that “more value” translates into higher real-world costs for non-dispatchable renewable technologies.

How much higher? Well … they don’t say. But you can be sure that it won’t be free. At a bare minimum, it will be the capital cost of the dispatchable backup generator plus some portion of the other fixed, variable, and transmission costs … and that means that because of the costs of the needed backup generators, there is very little chance that solar and wind will ever be competitive with other methods.

TL;DR Version: Neither wind nor solar are ready for prime-time, and due to their need for backup power, they may never be ready.

CDC says greater than 4,100 folks have been hospitalized or died after vaccination

More than 4,100 people have been hospitalized or died with Covid-19 in the U.S. even though they’ve been fully vaccinated, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

So far, at least 750 fully vaccinated people have died after contracting Covid, but the CDC noted that 142 of those fatalities were asymptomatic or unrelated to Covid-19, according to data as of Monday that was released Friday.

The CDC received 3,907 reports of people who have been hospitalized with breakthrough Covid infections, despite being fully vaccinated. Of those, more than 1,000 of those patients were asymptomatic or their hospitalizations weren’t related to Covid-19, the CDC said.

“To be expected,” Dr. Paul Offit, a top advisor to the Food and Drug Administration on children’s vaccines told CNBC. “The vaccines aren’t 100% effective, even against severe disease. Very small percentage of the 600,000 deaths.”

Breakthrough cases are Covid-19 infections that bypass vaccine protection. They are very rare and many are asymptomatic. The vaccines are highly effective but don’t block every infection. Pfizer and Moderna’s phase three clinical studies found that their two-dose regimens were 95% and 94% effective at blocking Covid-19, respectively, while Johnson & Johnson’s one-shot vaccine was found to be 66% effective in its studies. All three, however, have been found to be extremely effective in preventing people from getting severely sick from Covid.

The CDC doesn’t count every breakthrough case. It stopped counting all breakthrough cases May 1 and now only counts those that lead to hospitalization or death, a move the agency was criticized for by health experts.

Most Americans have received at least one shot of the two currently authorized mRNA vaccines. The U.S. has administered 178.3 million shots and fully vaccinated 46% of its population.

“You are just as likely to be killed by a meteorite as die from Covid after a vaccine,” Dr. Peter Chin-Hong, infectious disease expert at University of California San Francisco told CNBC. “In the big scheme of things, the vaccines are tremendously powerful.”

Efficacy rates decrease slightly for variants like alpha and delta, with studies indicating 88% efficacy against the delta variant after two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. It was unclear if any of the reported breakthrough cases were caused by variants.

In Israel and the United Kingdom, concerns about the Delta variant are rising after growing reports of breakthrough infections.

Even with 80% of adults vaccinated, Chezy Levy, director-general of Israel’s Health Ministry, said the delta variant is responsible for 70% of new infections in the country. Levy also said that one-third of those new infections were in vaccinated individuals.

In the U.K., Public Health England released a report that found 26 out of 73 deaths caused by the delta variant occurred in fully vaccinated people from June 8 to June 14. Most of the deaths occurred in unvaccinated individuals.

“Determination of whether hospitalizations and deaths are more represented in immunocompromised patients and the type of vaccine received will be important for future guidance,” Chin-Hong said.

On June 7, the CDC received reports of 3,459 breakthrough cases that led to hospitalization or death. On June 18, that number was updated to 3,729, an increase of 270 cases. Today, the number stands at 4,115.

An overwhelming majority, 76%, of the hospitalizations and deaths from breakthrough cases occurred in people over the age of 65.

“We do not have the years and years of data we have for vaccines against other airborne pathogens — and therefore it is really essential that the CDC provides up to date reporting on breakthrough cases,” David Edwards, aerosol scientist and Harvard University professor told CNBC.

The CDC says its numbers are “likely an undercount” of all Covid infections in vaccinated people because the data rely on passive and voluntary reporting.

A newly found (nearly) dwarf planet will come surprisingly near Shut in 2031

It is good to remember how little we know about the outer solar system. Humans have only really begun to observe them in the last 100 years, and given the limitations of those observations, there are still many things we do not know about. For example, researchers recently found an object almost the size of a dwarf planet invading the inner solar system, with an estimated orbital period of over 2 million years, more than six the lifetime of the modern human species.

The object, known as 2014 UN271 (Bernardinelli-Bernstein), was originally observed in 2014, but was first noted on June 19, 2021 by Pedro Bernardelli and Gary Bernstein and now has its own Wikipedia page. The data on the object were collected by the Dark Energy Survey over a period of 4 years, but new observation platforms are now being used on this novel object.

With these additional observation platforms, additional insights come. Currently, UN271 is expected to reach perihelion just outside of Saturn’s orbit in 2014 before returning to the depths of the Oort Cloud for another rotation around the Sun. Its size is estimated to be 100 to 370 km, making it possibly the largest Oort cloud object ever observed.

After the UN271 has already passed the orbit of Neptune, it is well on its way to the inner solar system in 2014. As it nears the Sun, astronomers expect it to get the coma and tail characteristic of comets as its surface begins to evaporate in the heat. Unfortunately, it will likely not be bright enough to present a spectacular display like other well-known comets.

In 2014, UN271 could also be viewed as a Kuiper belt object, which is discussed in this UT video.

But it is being watched closely now that its presence is well known. There is already talk of possibly sending a mission to rendezvous with him when he reaches his perihelion point in 2031. Whatever resources are used for it, its very existence will serve as an important reminder of how little we know about what is out there.

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Thursday that they had sacked six-time Pro Bowl guard David DeCastro.

DeCastro was released with a non-soccer injury designation.

The Steelers later agreed a one-year contract with former Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN Adam Schefter.

DeCastro told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Thursday that he needed an ankle surgery.

“I have to have a third ankle operation,” DeCastro told the newspaper. “I tried to fix it last year, but the bone spurs kept coming back. It was pretty annoying to me all year.”

When asked by the point of sale if he still wanted to play, DeCastro said, “I need to see how the operation goes, but I would have no problem ending the day and getting on with my life.”

DeCastro hasn’t attended the mini camp lately. When asked about DeCastro a week ago coach Mike Tomlin said, “If I thought that injury circumstances or reasons why people don’t participate are significant, I would share them with you.”

DeCastro was in the final year of his contract with a cap hit of $ 14.2 million. His release saves the Steelers $ 8.75 million in Cap Space. He was the Steelers’ first-round pick (24th overall) in the 2012 draft.

“David was without a doubt one of the leading offensive linemen during his time with us,” said Kevin Colbert, general manager of Steelers. “He helped us win a lot of football games, but it was David’s consistency, reliability and professionalism that stood out above all. We wish him all the best in his career.”

DeCastro missed the first two games of 2020 with persistent knee problems but appeared in 13 of Pittsburgh’s last 14 games.

With the release of DeCastro, the Steelers will have a returning starter on the offensive: Chukwuma Okorafor, who will likely move from last season’s seat on the right to the left tackle. Kevin Dotson also made a couple of appearances for DeCastro last season, but he is said to be the left guard.

The Los Angeles Chargers released Turner in March after first attempting to trade him. Turner, 28, was limited to nine games last season with a groin injury but recently said he was “back at 100 percent”.

Turner ran out of guaranteed money for a four-year $ 45 million extension he signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2017.

Turner was selected for five Pro Bowls in his first six NFL seasons. He was selected by Carolina in the third round of the 2014 draft and has played in 93 career games with 89 starts.

Britney Spears Apologizes To Followers For ‘Pretending To Be Okay’ (Replace)

Just a day after #BritneySpears gave a heartbreaking testimony about her conservatorship, the singer took to Instagram and apologized to her fans.

Posting a photo, Britney captioned it with transparency of her experiences.

Apologizing for pretending to be ok, she stated, in part, “just want to tell you guys a little secret 🤫 … I believe as people we all want the fairy tale life and by the way I’ve posted …”

She continued, “I apologize for pretending like I’ve been ok the past two years … I did it because of my pride and I was embarrassed to share what happened to me … but honestly who doesn’t want to capture there Instagram in a fun light 💡🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!!

As you know,  Britney Spears personally asked to speak to Judge Brenda Penny and explained why she desperately wants her almost 15-year conservatorship under her father terminated. Speaking by phone for almost 20 minutes, she detailed horrific claims of abuse, being forcibly drugged with lithium and also being made to keep an IUD in place so that she doesn’t have any more children. At one point, Britney stated “The control he had to hurt his own daughter, he loved it. I worked seven days a week … it was like sex trafficking. I didn’t have a credit card, cash or my passport.”

She spoke about the horrors of being put on lithium against her will, which is a drug commonly used to treat bipolar disorder, Britney dropped a bombshell. She went on to say: “It’s a strong drug. You can go mentally impaired if you stay on it longer than five months. I felt drunk, I couldn’t even have a conversation with my mom or dad about anything. They had me with six different nurses. My family didn’t do a God damn thing. Anything I had to do, [my dad] was the one who approved all of it. My whole family did nothing.” She also detailed her wish to expand her family that has been stopped, “I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told I can’t get married. I have an IUD inside me but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to remove it because they don’t want me to have any more children. This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good.”

She also said that her mental health continues to be in jeopardy.

Britney Spears’ next court hearing on the matter is set for July 14th.
