Fossil Fuels and Greenhouse Gases Local weather Science – Are You As much as Date?

Paper prepared by Richard Lindzen, William Happer, Steven Koonin and submitted on April 16, 2024.

IF FOSSIL FUELS, CO2, AND OTHER GHG EMISSIONS ARE REDUCED TO “NET ZERO,” THERE WILL BE DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES FOR THE POOR, THE WORLD’S PEOPLE, FUTURE GENERATIONS, AND THE WEST.

  • CO2 is essential for our food and therefore for life on earth
  • More CO2, including CO2 from fossil fuels, produces more food.
  • More CO2 increases food intake in drought areas.
  • Greenhouse gases prevent us from freezing to death
  • Huge social benefits of fossil fuels
  • “Net zeroing” fossil fuels will lead to massive starvation among humanity by eliminating nitrogen fertilizers

The IPCC is under government control and therefore ONLY PROVIDES GOVERNMENT OPINIONS, NOT SCIENTIFIC OPINIONS

Science proves that fossil fuels, CO2 and other greenhouse gases will not cause catastrophic global warming and extreme weather

  • Reliable science is based on validating theoretical predictions through observations, not through consensus, peer review, government opinion, or carefully selected or falsified data
  • The models that predict catastrophic warming and extreme weather fail the crucial scientific test: they don't work and would never be used in science.
  • 600 million years of CO2 and temperature data contradict the theory that high CO2 levels will cause catastrophic global warming.
  • Atmospheric CO2 is now “highly saturated,” which physically means more CO2 has little warming effect.
  • The theory that extreme weather is caused by fossil fuels, CO2 and other greenhouse gases contradicts the scientific method and is therefore scientifically invalid
