Matthew Perry was unable to talk or transfer attributable to ketamine days earlier than his loss of life

In Iwamasa's confession, obtained by E! News on August 16, prosecutors allege that the 59-year-old injected Perry with ketamine, which he obtained through unofficial channels, at around 8:30 a.m. on the day of his death. They accused Iwamasa of giving Perry two more doses within six hours before letting him run errands.

When Iwamasa returned home, he found Perry lying face down in the hot tub, the filing said.

In connection with Perry's death Jasveen Sangha— a North Hollywood woman dubbed the “Ketamine Queen” by authorities — was also charged with conspiracy to distribute ketamine, operating a drug-related establishment, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of ketamine with intent to distribute and five counts of distribution of ketamine.
