Cam Newton is getting serious about settling down
The former NFL player recently spoke with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant on his “Funky Friday” podcast, where he discussed his thoughts on marriage, divorce, and his desire to continue to expand his family. During the conversation, Cam Newton revealed that he has eight children with three different women and wants to have more.
“Many people see my situation and think I am not highly functional,” Newton told Dr. Bryant, but when she asked him if he wanted more children, he simply said he wanted “God to send them to him.”
Cam Newton then explained that his “The desire to marry is less than his fear of divorce,” which leads to him “taking his time.” Dr. Bryant explained to Cam that he was not taking his time. Instead, he was “very action-oriented.” She further educated him, pointing out that he was actually “very selectively active.”
“You proactively choose where you want to be active and what you want to take your time with. You want to take your time finding a woman out of fear, but you will selfishly create broken families even if you are part of her life,” Dr. Bryant explained.
Dr. Cheyenne Bryant continued to encourage Cam, telling him that some, if not all, of his children would face challenges without his constant presence. She also mentioned that his selfish actions were due to his fear.

Details about Cam's children and their mothers
As The Shade Room previously reported, Cam Newton had his eighth child with the comedian Jasmine Brown in March of this year.
Although the NFL superstar has not publicly announced the newborn on social media, Jasmine continued to share updates about the toddler and photos of Jasmine and Cam appeared throughout the pregnancy.
However, no photos of Jasmine and Cam's little bundle of joy have been released and details about the baby's gender remain unknown.
As mentioned, Newton has seven other children. He has five biological children with Kia Proctor and La Reina Shaw. He also adopted the children from both women's previous relationships and raised them as his own.
