The Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip alum's family spoke out in rare interviews as the anniversary of Perry's tragic death approaches.

Recalling one of her last conversations with her son, Suzanne said there was “an inevitability” in the way he spoke that troubled her at the time.

“He said, 'I'm not afraid anymore,'” she remembers. “And it worried me.”

The 17 Again actor's half-sister Caitlin Morrison Also recently opened about his death and how she remembers him.

“He had the ability to fill a room with light,” the 43-year-old told Hello magazine in a story published Oct. 23. “When people were in a room with him, he had this magnetic energy. Everyone just had them.” They had a smile on their face and hung on to everything he said.
