More details about the rapper's release

As previously reported, Young Thug accepted a non-negotiated plea deal on Thursday, October 31st. He pleaded guilty to six counts in his YSL RICO case. Prosecutors asked for 25 years in prison and 20 years probation. Ultimately, the judge sentenced him to 40 years in prison, with five years in prison commuted to time served. He will also be on probation for 15 years.

Additionally, the judge banned Young Thug from contacting other defendants in the YSL case, except for his brother and Gunna. He is also banned from the Atlanta metropolitan area for 10 years, except for certain events such as four anti-gang violence concerts or presentations per year. He is forbidden to promote any gang in any form. However, his father wasn't too happy about the temporary ban.

On the bright side, fans might be lucky to see Thugger back on the music scene since Judge gave him the freedom to travel for work. One person who was happy about Young Thug's release, conditions aside, is his girlfriend Mariah, the scientist, and she let it be known.
