More details about K.Dot’s “GNX” album
Kendrick Lamar shocked social media when he released his album “GNX” just before Thanksgiving. What really caught everyone's attention was Kendrick calling out Lil Wayne and then Snoop Dogg for reposting Drake's “Taylor Made Freestyle.”
Kendrick's mention of Weezy came after Lil Wayne expressed his continued disappointment with K. Dot headlining the 2025 Super Bowl in his hometown of New Orleans. Despite Wayne's comments about the halftime show, Kendrick launched his album with “crazy murals.” In the song, he calls out Wayne for not celebrating his hard work.
“I used to blast 'Tha Carter 3' and proudly hold my Rollie necklace. Irony: I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down.” He continued, “I won the Super Bowl and Nas is the only one congratulating me, all these n****s are excited, I am just glad it’s on the lips.”
