But Ashlyn didn't shrug off all the blame either. She noted, “I had to take back my power, and people got hurt in the process.”
E! News has reached out to Ali's representatives regarding Ashlyn's recent comments but has not yet received a response.
For her part, Ali recently told E! News that she no longer felt “numb” after her divorce and is pursuing a new, private relationship.
“[With] Everything I went through last year, I want to keep more for myself and for her,” she told E! News in September. “I think it's really important that I can slow down this process, give it some good thought and make sure it's moving in the right direction before I make a big announcement.”
