The Pop-Tarts Bowl is upping the ante for its next edition after last season's live mascot captured the hearts of the collective college football internet.

First, they tripled the live mascot action and announced that three flavored Pop-Tarts would be at this month's game. Now they have unveiled what may be the most technologically advanced trophy in sport.
This year's Pop-Tarts Bowl winner will receive a trophy that doubles as a fully functional toaster.

The concept is not new. Last year's trophy also featured a silver soccer ball with two metallic slots for inserting Pop-Tarts. But these slots were just for show.
But thanks to a partnership with GE Appliances, the bowl winner can now toast with a post-victory snack.
The No. 18 Iowa State Cyclones and No. 13 Miami Hurricanes will play for the right to win the Toaster Trophy on December 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
