The San Diego Wave approved a contract to sign the Colombian defender Daniela Arias from Brazilian Corinthians, said sources ESPN.
The wave pays a transmission fee of $ 150,000 to secure arias, says sources.
The 30-year-old Arias is a center back that played for Colombia at the 2023 World Cup and at the 2024 Olympics. She helped win Corinthians, the Copa Libertadores, the Brazilian league and Supercopa in 2024.
Arias will join a team in San Diego who has lost several star players in the past few months, including the $ 1.1 million transmission of Naomi Girma in the USA on Chelsea.

The head coach of New Wave, Jonas Eidevall, who resigned from his post as an arsenal manager last autumn, opened the new NWSL season with several new players, including the French midfielder Kenza Dali and the American youth international Gia Corley.
Corley scored the wave of the wave with Angel City FC on Sunday in 1-1 to open the regular season.
The primary transfer window of the NWSL remains open until Monday.
