The Barbie actress will work with the director Greta Gerwig Again, when she was occupied as a white witch in the upcoming Narnia film, which is in the works for Netflix.
In the role of the white witch named Jadis, Mackey will play the primary antagonist in the world of Narnia, the character that throws the magic of endless winter.
Emma joins a line -up Daniel Craig As an uncle of Digory Kirke and Meryl Streep As Lion Aslan the Great of the Great to Deadline. Further details have not been shared, the film will currently have a premiere from Christmas 2026 Netflix after two weeks in IMAX theaters.
Netflix shared news about their plans to adapt the series in 2018.
