Washington Times: In spite of the rejection, you can be sure that Biden-Harris will instruct AG to submit their scandalous bids

From the Washington Times:

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris now vigorously deny that they would ever order their attorney general to make political bids or attack certain opponents. This would be unremarkable if they hadn’t promised to the contrary with equal force and worrying specificity during the 2020 campaign.

CNN reports that in an interview, Biden said, “I’m not going to tell you what to do and what not to do. I’m not going to say, “Go and chase A, B or C.” I will not tell you. That’s not the role. It’s not my Department of Justice, it’s the People’s Department of Justice. … Harris repeated the sentiment of Biden’s remarks about the Justice Department. “We’re not going to tell the Justice Department how to do its job,” Harris said.

So don’t heed her outright promise to arm the DoJ: “Biden will instruct the Attorney General to” do all sorts of things to push through a political agenda or target, including “(iii) providing strategic support to ongoing plaintiff-driven climate disputes against polluters” .

The latter point, of course, relates to a growing litigation campaign by activists and the Deliktsbar to enforce the country’s progressive “climate” agenda and enrich themselves with the taxes actually paid by consumers, which are being run through massive settlements of energy companies.

The plaintiffs team regularly admits that this is an attempt to use the courts as a substitute for an agenda that keeps failing the democratic process.

Its goals are to “overthrow fossil fuel companies”, “force defendants onto the table” and ultimately win them over as lobbyists for the desired climate policy. That is, the idea is to replace the failure to make policy with conviction by convincing the public.

Things will inevitably get confusing, therefore, should the DoJ soon use the incredible powers of the federal government to aid politically allied plaintiffs against supposed enemies of the climate. So consider some facts about this litigation campaign.

First, the Biden Harris Vow enlivens the plan to pursue opposition to “climate” at the federal level, as in a colloquium between Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) of the Senate Judiciary Committee and then Attorney General Loretta Lynch in 2016 became clear.

That was shocking. This is all the more regrettable as it is not just a uniquely obsessed senator attacking an AG on suspicion of politicization. This implies having a president and a vice president swear a political hit on political allies whose clumsily synchronized back pedal only reinforces suspicion.

And, of course, there is no reason to believe that the danger of using the government in this way is directed against only whoever they believe is a “polluter”. The goals will be broad, as Whitehouse suggested.

I spent two decades with the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a consistently effective opponent of the “climate” agenda, which has therefore been the subject of a subpoena campaign in an early, coordinated attack between prosecutors, prosecutors, and even attorneys-general.

This campaign resulted from a notorious 2011 call by the same activists and crime lawyers to hire “a single sympathetic attorney general” to pursue investigations into private parties to extract records for use by the “Climate Tort” bar.

Thanks to newly released records, we now know that an ambitious young state corporation from California helped organize this coordination between the crime attorney and law enforcement.

Bring us to this day, and the same ambitious woman has confessed that if she is elected Vice President, she will direct the United States Attorney General to take power. And also that she would never do that.

Washington would not be The Swamp if the AG, the CEI and 100 others, Claude Walker of the US Virgin Islands, had not recently been tacitly appointed as assistant director of law enforcement with the US Environmental Protection Agency. Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?

Biden-Harris ran with a very specific, unfortunate promise to arm the Justice Department on behalf of private civil trials of friends, to enforce allegiance to a failed ideological god and punish heretics.

Soon they will appoint a “sympathetic attorney general”. Confirmation hearings generally need to address this obvious promise and detail this specific climate industry scheme for law enforcement staffing.

Recall that billionaire activist and major Democratic donor Michael Bloomberg “embedded” privately hired attorneys as Special Assistant Attorneys General in the offices of Progressive State AG to advance this agenda. As the government transparency group Energy Policy Advocates recently detailed, these mercenaries were also immediately hired to assist in the lawsuits of these private plaintiffs.

We learned that the leading crime firm in this campaign has received millions in “grants” from a nonprofit foundation to clearly sign its work despite contingent fee agreements that promise massive payouts from any deal. This seems to be problematic, not just for the poor optics of double diving.

We also learned that “Climate” plaintiff Rhode Island – home of Senator Whitehouse – admits that his goal is to get a “sustainable flow of funding” because lawmakers would not pass the taxes needed to fund left spending ambitions .

Biden-Harris’ vow to order her attorney general to involve the Justice Department in this disturbing campaign is scandalous. The attorney general’s confirmation hearings must produce a clear condemnation and disapproval of such a brawl from the candidate.
