A call to all Bridgerton fans: Lady Whistledown has important news for you!
The fans’ favorite Netflix series has officially been renewed for a second season. The streaming service was confirmed on Thursday, January 21st. Alongside the footage of the show, the Netflix Twitter account announced, “Prepare for another social season! @Bridgerton should be back.” Season 2!”
executive producer Shonda Rhimes also shared the exciting news with her social media followers on Thursday and posted a letter from Lady Whistledown. “The bin is full of the latest gossip and so it is my honor to announce that Bridgerton will be back for a second season,” explained her message. “I hope you saved a bottle of Ratafia for this delightful occasion.”
Lady Whistledown’s message also noted that the cast includes that Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean page, will also be back for season two, which will start filming this spring.
