Although Tuesday was Valentine’s Day India Royale seemed to deviate from public praise Lil Durk. The rapper took to Instagram with loving words for his former fiancée, but she followed up with a message on Twitter about respecting boundaries.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to the wonderful woman who made me a man. Love you @indiaroyale,” Durk captioned a photo of India on his IG Story. He added Future’s song I Won to the post.
After his post went live, India tweeted two encrypted but indirect messages. She didn’t name Lil Durk, but fans were quick to speculate that the tweets were about him and his V-Day note.
“People don’t respect boundaries at all. I try my best to be respectful and not show off but people don’t respect my choices,” India wrote.
She added, “Let it go,” in a separate tweet.
Shortly after, Durk returned to his Instagram story with another message. This time he elaborated on why he gave India a shoutout.
“I’m posting because I wanted the internet not to run Druk, try the troll with another mfr, leave certain people alone,” he wrote.
The shoutout and clarification posts are no longer available on Durk’s Instagram story. Meanwhile, India’s tweets are still visible on her profile. After the supposed Subliminal, the influencer tweeted twice about Valentine’s Day – one was a greeting and the other was a retweet.
Happy Love Day ❤️

She retweeted the following tweet:
Your son was not born to love you like no other man would. This is not a man who is a child 😕

Timeline of Lil Durk and India relationship
It is currently unclear if Durk and India are in a romantic relationship. They became engaged in December 2021 after Durk proposed while performing at the WGCI’s Big Jam Concert in Chicago.
They started dating in 2017.
During the proposal he said:
“You know I love you to death and you held me when I was going through a lot,” Durk shared at the time. “You were the most real thing to me and I love you to death. I would smoke a muthaf**ka for you. So, do you want to be my wife?”
But India fueled breakup rumors in September after she tweeted that she was “a free agent” and unfollowed Durk on Instagram.
A little over a month later, Lil Durk posted and deleted a TikTok video with the caption “Welcome to Death Row.” He tagged India in the clip and wrote in the caption: “The voice X the blessing #lildurk #india”.
Since those September and October posts, neither person has shared much about their relationship status. However, they celebrated their daughter Willow’s birthday in early November.
