James van der Beek Reflecting about the most difficult year of his life.
On his 48th birthday, the Dawson's Creek Alaun spoke about it Kimberly van der Beek as well as the life of their six children –Olivia14 ,, Joshua13, Annabel11, 11, Emilia8 ,, Gwendolyn6 ,, Jeremiah2.
“Today is my birthday and it was the hardest year of my life,” said James in a selfie video that was shared on his Instagram on March 8. “When I was younger, I defined myself as an actor, right, which was never really so fulfilling. And then I became a husband, and that was better. And then I became a father, and the ultimate.”
The Varsity Blues star, who married Kimberly in 2010, continued: “I was then able to live as a loving, capable, strong, supporting husband, father, provider, steward of the country, of whom we are so happy. And for a long time it felt like a really good definition for the question:” Who am I? “And then I had to look my own mortality this year.”
