Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler sued for $ 500,000 in alleged canine chunk

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler were sued by a cable and satellite installer who claimed he was bitten by one of their two sheepdogs.

E! News received the complaint filed by an Alabama resident Nathan Beam on Tuesday April 13th. He asked for up to $ 500,000 to compensate him for his medical expenses, emotional distress, pain, and more.

He claimed the incident occurred in June 2020 when he was asked to perform an installation on a house in Franklin, Tennessee that was purchased by the third defendant, Next Chapter, LLC, in May 2020. (Cavallari announced their divorce from Cutler the month before. It’s not clear how the stars are connected to the Franklin property, even though they sold their joint Nashville estate last summer.)

According to the complaint, Beam noted that none of the couple’s dogs were held or separated in an enclosed area, which he believes is part of their installation agreement. He later said he had also not received a “warning” about the dogs’ alleged “dangerous” behavior.

As he was leaving the house, he went to his truck and met one of their dogs, whom the lawsuit refers to as “Kona”. The dog was standing in front of the driver’s door and blocked him. Beam picked up something from the floor and the “German Shepherd’s mouth and teeth clung to his left thumb and fingernail and” wouldn’t let go for a few seconds. ”
