Labrinth shares cryptic message mentioning “euphoria”

Labrinth comes to his platform with a message about the industry

In 2019, British singer and songwriter Labrinth signed with Columbia Records following the success of his soundtrack “Euphoria.” The project included popular titles such as “All For Us.” Zendaya and “Forever.” Over the years, the composer gained widespread recognition, winning an Emmy and even receiving a Grammy nomination.

In 2025, the HBO series announced that Labrinth would return to compose alongside Hans Zimmer. At that time the composer shared his enthusiasm and wrote: “Another chapter in the Euphoria universe! It’s great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film music, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love X.”

However, now it looks like things have changed in 2026. On Thursday, March 12, Labrinth took to Instagram to drop a few things ahead of the highly anticipated release of Euphoria season 3. The artist wrote: “I’m done with this industry. F*** COLOMBIA. DOUBLE F*** EUPHORIA. I’m outside. THANK YOU and goodnight X.”

Many of Labrinth’s supporters and music colleagues gathered in his comments section to show their support. Singer That’s not me wrote: “Take care of your peace, my love. You are loved and supported.” Singer Skyler Gray also commented: “Please don’t stop making music, the world needs you.”

Social media reactions

Many Euphoria fans gathered among The Shade Room Teens to try to understand Labrinth’s latest message. Many expressed their support for the artist, saying that while the entire situation is not clear, he should choose peace if he is not being paid properly. Others were shocked and wondered what this could mean for Euphoria, while others felt that perhaps it was simply time for the show to end.

Here is the latest update on Euphoria Season 3.

Back in January, Deadline revealed an update on the third season of “Euphoria.” HBO said the third season will return in April 2026. Created by Sam Levinson, the series first premiered in 2019 and quickly became one of HBO’s most talked-about dramas.

Filming for the third season began on February 10, 2025 in Los Angeles and ended in November 2025. Cast below Zendaya, Hunter Shepherd, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordiand others will reprise their roles. Season three will also feature a time jump that takes the characters beyond their high school years.

When discussing why Euphoria might end with season three, HBO exec Francesca Orsi told Deadline: “We talked about it. I don’t believe anything is over until it’s over, but there has been talk of this being the end. I think you’ll be very pleased with this season and the way we wrap up each character’s narrative.”
