This year’s free agency phase begins on Monday at 6 p.m. ET. Teams can begin negotiating with free agents at this point, although many of those conversations have already taken place.
Most contracts cannot officially be signed until 12:01 p.m. ET on Friday. However, many players will verbally agree to the terms of the contract before putting the pen down on paper.
