Nike Sues Firm That Labored With Lil Nas X For Its “Satanic Sneakers” (Replace)

TSR Updatez: After Nike denied any involvement in Lil Nas X’s controversial “Satan Shoes”, Nike is now suing the art collective that teamed up with the rapper to get the kicks.

Nike has already said their name is Bennett and they’re not there, but according to TMZ, shoe giant is suing MSCHF Product Studio for developing the bespoke Nike Air Max 97 shoes, which contain the pentagram symbol and allegedly a drop of human blood from one MSCHF employees.

Also only 666 pairs are made and they sell for more than one rack. Lil Nas X announced the shoe partnership after he discontinued his equally controversial music video for his song “Montero”.

According to documents received from TMZ, Nike claims that MSCHF tricked consumers into believing it approves the Satan-themed shoes, but Nike insists that it did not approve the production or sale of the shoe and “in none Way is associated with this project. ”

Nike claims that MSCHF buys Nike’s shoes, then the artists it works with put the products into their own hands before selling them at a higher price.

MSCHF is the same company that created this “Birkin Birkens” future.

Nike is specifically suing for trademark infringement as the famous Swoosh logo still plays a prominent role on Lil Nas X’s shoes. Nike wants compensation and asks the judge to block all sales of the shoes.

Lil Nas X does not appear to be backing off and continues to troll critics who called him for his shoes.

MSCHF did not release a statement in response to the backlash or lawsuit, but we will keep you informed should the company speak up.
