After the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, Plies shared his political advice to President Biden on social media.
The rapper used X, formerly known as Twitter, to explain what stance Joe should take to win the election and criticized Trump for his lack of empathy in the past.

Plies – born Algernod Lanier Washington – tagged the president in his message, which read: “You would be [A] Damn fool, slow down your campaign! Use this moment to push the agenda you are pushing: banning assault rifles and gun violence, etc. Chaos vs. a steady hand! Hate and actions are not enough [Surprised] If it happens! Unite the country and show what leadership looks like!”
He added, “If the Republicans make progress with their convention! [Be] Continue with your campaign!!! It's that easy!!!”
This tweet followed messages discussing Donald Trump's lack of empathy during other acts of violence that rocked the country. Plies posted an image Trump's son shared on social media that mocked Paul, the husband of Democrat Nancy Pelosi, being attacked with a hammer.

The 48-year-old explained: “If you had no heart and no compassion, if [It] Came all the school shootings, the church shooting in Charleston (Dylan Roof), the white supremacist attacks in Charlottesville, the insurrection at the Capitol, and the attack on Paul Pelosi. How do you just have a heart and empathy now???”

In addition, Washington tweeted: “When shit like this happens, no one plays the victim faster than the ‘BULLY’!!!!!
When shit happens. Nobody plays the “VICTIM” faster than the “BULLY”!!!!!

He also discussed how individuals are often categorized as “heroic” after “Survive” a tragedy. However, this feeling does not usually apply to African Americans.
“In this country, if you survive something, you're a hero!! Why has America never called black people 'HEROES' for surviving SLAVERY!! Why has America never given full credit to the police officers who survived the attacks on the Capitol on January 6th? It doesn't get more heroic than that!!” wrote the rapper of “Kept It Too Real”.
We must admit that some points have been raised.
