Quincy Brown makes it clear the place he stands along with his father Al B. Positive!

Quincy Brown steps into the spotlight, while his stepfather, Diddyis all over the news. Ironically, Brown's latest comments that have caused some controversy relate to his relationship with his biological father, Al B. Sure.

Quincy hints that he is developing a bond with Al B. Sure!

Quincy told Angela Yee in “Lip Service” how he feels about Al B. Spoiler alert: The 33-year-old said his father’s story lacked a bit of context!

“We're cool now, I just spoke to him a few days ago, he congratulated me on the album. But that's not the case, I think we have a cool relationship. He tries to do the dad stuff a lot, but that's not really our purpose in life. We're homies more than anything. We say let's do something, and I feel like we're at that point now. We're two grown men, we can talk about anything and everything. It's not about anything else.”

For context: Yee brought up the father-son topic after asking Quincy if his public letter to his father sparked a reconciliation. In 2020, Brown published an open letter about the absence of his biological father in his life and how Diddy had been his “father figure.”

“Sean Combs is the person I look up to and value as a father. He helped me become the person I am today and I will always try to live up to his expectations. He has always supported me and I will love and respect him forever,” Quincy wrote in his letter. “As for my biological father, the 'image' is everything I inherited from him. Throughout my life I have always wondered: Where was he? What was he doing? And most importantly, did he even think about me? My father's absence has given me a better understanding of the kind of man I will be. I am grateful for my mother's love, support, guidance and strength.”

In the interview with Yee, Quincy Brown also said that it was Russell Simmons who inspired him to open up to his father.

Al B. recently begged his son to “come home”

As previously reported, Al B. Sure publicly offered his support to Quincy Brown in March after federal authorities raided Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami. In his plea, Al told his son he was “safe” with him.

Since the raids, five more people have filed lawsuits against Sean Combs, bringing the total to ten since Cassie exposed him last November.

In addition, Combs is in federal custody on three charges related to organized crime and sex trafficking. Those raids turned up a lot of the evidence cited in the indictment, including guns and at least 1,000 bottles of baby oil. In addition, federal prosecutors accuse Diddy of a persistent pattern of verbal, emotional, physical and sexual abuse “towards women and other persons.”

The FBI arrested Sean Combs in New York City on Monday (September 16), and a judge ordered him remanded in custody the following day. His attorney is expected to present his appeal before another judge on Wednesday.

Justin Combs, Quincy Combs and their brother Christian Combs were seen arriving at the courthouse before their arraignment.
