Stephen Curry misses the road sport in Charlotte and is not feeling effectively, the Golden State Warriors say shortly after the tip
Stephen Curry, the guardian of the Golden State Warriors, will not play against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night because he is “not feeling well,” the team announced shortly after the start of the game. Curry, who had warmed up before the game, was scratched just before the tipoff and replaced on the starting grid by Mychal Mulder.
Curry, who grew up in the Charlotte area and went to school at Davidson College out of town, has mentioned several times in the past few days how excited he was to play at home after missing last season’s game had after injuring his hand earlier this year.
NBC Sports Bay Area cameras showed Curry walking off the ground just before the game with Rick Celebrini, director of sports medicine and performance for Warriors.
Curry averages 29.9 points, 6.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game this season.
