We are almost three months in 2025 and less than that beforehand Sean 'Diddy' Combs puts in court. He faces the federal trade, blackmail and transport of prostitution costs in New York. While Diddy's lawyers are probably busy preparing his defense, a lawyer is said to be a foot from the team. Anthony Ricco wants to quit and after humans he submitted an application for it.

Inquiry from Diddy's lawyer says this
People pulled Anthony Ricco's paperwork, and although he supposedly gave no reason to quit, he appears in his decision. He admitted that a conversation with Diddy's main consultant Marc Agnifilo stuck his nail for him. However, he was based on his privilege at his lawyer and as his argument that he did not give any further details about terminating. In the affidavit, the lawyer reported reportedly: “… Under no circumstances can I continue to serve as a lawyer of Sean Combs.”
TMZ has quoted unnamed sources that suggest that Anthony's departure is related to his lack of relationship. The sources claim that the lawyer without working relationships does not feel able to properly defend the client.
What happens next?
Ricco remains a lawyer in Diddy's defense team on paper. This will be the case until a judge grants his application. It is unclear whether this means that he is working actively on the case until then or whether he has already been in the background.
Regardless of this, Sean Combs still has a proper representation, with lawyer Agnifilo leading the highly expected defense of the producer. According to reports, four other lawyers are also working on the case.
“In the event of a delay in the present schedule, this application for withdrawal of the lawyer leads to a delay in the present schedule for the start of the selection and court proceedings of the jury or the present schedules for the investigation of legal questions,” says Ricco's application. “As a result, there will be no responsibility, since Sean Combs will continue to represent five other lawyers of records.”
While his lawyers work from outside, Diddy is expected to stay behind bars in the metropolitan detention center until his process begins on May 5. At the moment he has not known himself guilty.
