Tina Knowles has reportedly settled her divorce with Richard Lawson, and the terms of their separation were announced.

On Thursday, August 15, In Touch Weekly published an exclusive report claiming that the media outlet had obtained court documents detailing the couple's divorce settlement. Knowles and Lawson reportedly agreed that “irreconcilable differences… led to the irremediable breakdown” of their marriage. This reportedly made it “impossible for the parties to live together as man and wife.”
In addition, the settlement states that Tina Knowles was awarded or retained a 2018 Tesla, a 2020 Bentley, a book deal with Penguin Random House, a “1 percent interest in Kirby Beauty Management LLC,” furniture, artwork and creative works she created during her marriage.
Meanwhile, Lawson reportedly received a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, “multiple bank and retirement accounts,” payments owed to Richard Lawson Studios, and the creative works he created during their collaboration.

The outlet adds that Knowles has agreed to pay off all credit cards in her name. Additionally, Knowles is expected to pay off “all outstanding balances on all household expenses.”
In the meantime, Lawson will reportedly pay off his credit card debt and the debt on his 2021 Cadillac Escalade. In addition, he will reportedly receive a one-time payment of $300,000 from his ex-wife.
According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the former couple did not want to receive spousal support.
Finally, the agreement is said to contain a non-disparagement clause agreed upon by Knowles and Lawson. The clause states that neither of them may speak “negatively about the other or their children and their spouses.” In addition, their “grandchildren” are also said to be covered by this regulation.
“In view of the mutual desire to protect the privacy rights of any present or future grandchildren of both parties, the parties agree that they will not speak orally or in writing about said grandchildren or future grandchildren upon request from any media or person,” the agreement states.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Knowles and Lawson married in April 2015. In Touch Weekly adds that the couple's ceremony featured a star-studded guest list that included Samuel L. Jackson.

According to the outlet, the couple's separation date is July 25, 2023. Knowles reportedly filed for divorce from Lawson the following day.
Beyond that, the former couple has not made an official statement regarding their separation or divorce. However, in July, Lawson spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how he is still “able to receive love” despite his heartbreak.
