When does the Daytona 500 begin at this time? TV channel, inexperienced flag time for 2021 NASCAR opener
The Daytona 500 on Sunday marks the start of another season of the NASCAR Cup Series, but it doesn’t look quite like the races of previous years.
Attendance will be limited to 30,000 socially distant fans, out of the 100,000 spectators who normally flock to Daytona International Speedway. In terms of on-track action, the Daytona 500 field will be missing out on Jimmie Johnson, who retired from full-time driving last year to complete an incredible career with seven Series Cup titles.
Still, the excitement should be palpable as NASCAR’s top drivers try to hit the first checkered flag of the season.
Here is everything you need to know to watch the 2021 Daytona 500 including the green flag time, TV channel, and live stream information.
