YK Osiris crashes into Boosie’s home through the Crate Problem

If anything Boosie is going to do on Instagram, it’s to keep his followers entertained. With videos of people doing the “Crate Challenge” popping up on people’s timelines all week, Boosie wanted to improve it a bit. Today he shared a video of Gramm’s offer to host the challenge at his Atlanta home for winners to take home cash. With $ 1000 at stake, the people at Boosie’s home showed up ready to do the job.

After the boxes were set up, the rapper “Zoom” went back to Instagram and showed footage of the less fortunate participants attempting the challenge. First was his son Tootie Raww, who didn’t make it through the end. While he was trying to get down the second half of the box, he stumbled with his shirt off. The crowd laughed and watched as two more men and a woman tried their luck, but as you suspected, they too fell.

The challenge became interesting when the all in white R&B singer YK Osiris took off his shoes and started climbing the boxes. As he went upstairs, a man could be heard in the background saying, “What’s his song called?” Just as a viewer started singing the lyrics to his song “Worth It”, YK fell hard. YK has reposted the video on his Instagram wwith the caption “,@ hesbackagain2021 made me do these cops ** t. I was almost 4,000. Damned …. my back hurts as hell. “

Roommate, are you going to try the ‘Crate Challenge’?

How “The Specialists” Can Be Completely Fallacious About Vitality – Watts Up With That?

A podcast by Alex Epstein:

An understandable response to my view that the world should be using more, not less, fossil fuels in the decades to come is: “This is the exact opposite of what ‘the experts’ say. Almost every institution I trust says the expert consensus is that we need to quickly eliminate fossil fuel use. How can you be right and they are wrong? “

In this week’s Power Hour, based on brand new material from my upcoming book, Fossil Future, I’ll go straight to the point and explain three ways that experts are often wrong.

When we hear claims that “the experts” are wrong, we usually associate it with the claim that most of the experts in an area are actually wrong. While it certainly does, there are two far more common ways “the experts” can be wrong – both are at work on energy.

The factual conclusions of experts can be misrepresented by those who claim to speak for all experts.

And the factual conclusions of experts can be misjudged by those who claim to speak for all experts.

In this episode I will definitely show that our knowledge system is utterly irrational in its moral valuation method not only in relation to fossil fuels but also to other inexpensive forms of energy.

The FDA approval for the Pfizer Covid vaccine might come on Monday, the report stated

Empty Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine vials will be delivered on Jan.

The Food and Drug Administration is working on the approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine on Monday, the New York Times reported, citing sources.

The review process could go beyond that date, the Times said, as paperwork and negotiations with the company continue.

The move would make it the first Covid vaccine to move from emergency approval to full FDA approval.

The FDA declined to comment on the Times report to CNBC.

White House senior medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci, told the Associated Press on Aug. 8 that he hoped vaccines would get full approval “within the month of August,” adding that full approval would lead to more companies and schools requiring vaccines.

U.S. companies have tightened vaccination regulations for employees as Covid cases have increased across the country in recent weeks, and some cited full FDA approval as part of the decision-making process.

Full approval could also help convince people who are reluctant to get vaccinated until the FDA has fully approved the vaccination.

According to CDC data on Friday, more than 203 million doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine have been administered nationwide, fully vaccinating more than 91 million people in the United States.

Pfizer and BioNTech began applying for their biologics license for the two-dose vaccine in May after receiving emergency clearance from the FDA in December. The FDA sets a six month target for approval of high priority drugs.

If formally approved, Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine would remain available in the market after the pandemic ended and the companies could promote the vaccine directly to consumers. Pharmaceutical manufacturers with an EUA are banned from promoting their vaccines, CNBC previously reported.

The companies announced on Aug. 16 that they had initiated the approval process for a booster dose for fully vaccinated individuals after submitting clinical trial data to the FDA.

Top health officials from agencies like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the White House and the FDA said in a statement Wednesday that the effectiveness of mRNA vaccines declines over time, especially in those with compromised immune systems. They said the US would start distributing booster shots to the public in September.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo taking part in right this moment for Juventus? Newest information on star’s standing

After much speculation about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future this summer, the global soccer star will be starting his fourth Serie A season with Juventus on Sunday, Aug. 22, when the team opens its season at Udinese.

The 36-year-old Ronaldo is the reigning Serie A top scorer (29 goals last season) and although the European transfer window has not closed, he’ll be staying in Turin. With just one year left on his contract, it’s likely to be his final season in Italy.

“Ronaldo told me that he is staying at Juventus,” Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri said in the pregame press conference ahead of the Udinese match. “Ronaldo is an added bonus for us, because he guarantees a high number of goals. He has always trained well, I just read the gossip in the papers. He never told us he wanted to leave.”

MORE: Who will win Serie A in 2021-2022?

There’s still much to accomplish for Ronaldo at Juventus. In addition to defending his Serie A scoring crown and winning his third Italian league title, Ronaldo will be hoping to lead Juventus to the elusive trophy the team acquired him to help capture: the UEFA Champions League. Juve hasn’t won the top European club crown since 1996.

Will Ronaldo play for Juventus vs. Udinese?

The Juventus season kicks off Sunday with a Serie A opener against Udinese. Ronaldo was on the bench with Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala getting the start up top.

Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved told Italy’s DAZN that the benching “was a mutual decision with the player. We are at the start of the season and you can’t expect to be in top form. It’s a decision for the good of the team. Even Chiellini, a Euro champion, starts on the bench today. Will Ronaldo stay at Juventus? Yes, absolutely.”

The benching comes on the heels of Ronaldo missing a midweek tuneup match against Juve’s Under-23 team. But the club made it known that he sat out to do individual training.

“Ronaldo didn’t play on Thursday because we were coming off a heavy training workload and I gave him half a day off,” Allegri said about Ronaldo’s absence in midweek, confirming he was available for selection against Udinese.

The Juventus schedule through the end of September follows below:

Serie A top scorer favorites

Major sportsbooks in the USA list Cristiano Ronaldo as the favorite to retain the title of Serie A top scorer. His main preseason challengers are Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and Lazio’s Ciro Immobile.

Ronaldo has not scored fewer than 21 goals in his three previous seasons in Italy’s Serie A, netting a total of 81 league goals during that span and 133 across all competitions for the Bianconeri.

The Milky Approach broke considered one of its arms

The Milky Way is our home, and yet in some ways it is the least understood galaxy. One of the greatest challenges for astronomers is understanding its large-scale structure. Since we’re in the middle of it, mapping our galaxy is a bit like trying to map the size and shape of a wooded park while standing in the middle.

One of the ways astronomers can map our galaxy is by measuring the position and distance of thousands and thousands of stars. This is one of the main objectives of the Gaia mission, which studies the position and movement of more than a billion stars. Gaia has already revealed details in the structure of the Milky Way, such as a wave pattern between some stars.

The Eagle, Omega, Triffid, and Lagoon Nebulae, captured by NASA’s Spitzer Infrared Space Telescope. Photo credit: NASA / JPL-Caltech

Another method is to look at certain objects in our galaxy, such as star formation nebulae. Star-forming nebulae tend to be in the spiral arms of a galaxy, where there is the most gas and dust. The Spitzer Infrared Space Telescope measured the distances to young stars in many nebulae, which helped us confirm that the Milky Way has four main spiral alarms.

A new study combines data from Gaia and Spitzer and compares the position of some nebulae with the total spiral distribution of the stars.[^1] The study focused on a main spiral alarm within the galaxy known as the Sagittarius Arm. It is the spiral arm straight inward from Orion’s solar arm. The team hoped to measure an aspect of the spiral arm known as the pitch angle. It tells you how tightly a spiral arm is wrapped. The larger the pitch angle, the more open the spiral arms are. With the Sagittarius arm, the pitch angle is about 12 degrees. But the angles of inclination of some nebulae are very different.

Astronomers have found a break in our galaxy’s archery arm. Photo credit: NASA / JPL-Caltech

The team looked at four prominent nebulae in our night sky: the Eagle Nebula (which contains the Pillars of Creation), the Omega Nebula, the Trifid Nebula, and the Lagoon Nebula. These four nebulae are in the same general region and were used in the 1950s to confirm the existence of the archer arm. This new study determined the location of these nebulae and other stars and found the region to be tilted at 60 degrees.

This doesn’t mean our original Sagittarius arm measurement is wrong, but it does indicate a type of structure known as galactic spores. Some spiral galaxies have very smooth spiral arms in which gas, dust, and star-forming regions all lie along the same curve. Other spiral galaxies have more broken spiral arms with small feathery extensions called spurs. We don’t know exactly what type of galaxy the Milky Way is, but this new study suggests that it is the latter.

The reality about what occurred in Jonestown

“His message has been incredibly violent over time. And it was unpredictable, ”Stephan remembers. “When we didn’t have an open meeting where he tried to attract new members, we had closed meetings where he tried to control the members.”

Jim Jr., who later remarried and has three sons, explained how his journey was different from Stephan’s, largely because as a child he was just so grateful to be welcomed into their family. “I was a real believer,” he said. “When I say true believers, I have believed in anything that Peoples Temple could have been.”

He remembered being reluctant to teach his oldest boy basketball because the game only reminded him of the night so many people died, but he survived. However, his son became a star player in high school, and Jim Jr. started out as a coach. “I was known as Jim Jones’ son for so long,” he said. “And it wasn’t until Rob started playing that I became known as Rob’s father.”

Stephan complained: “Maybe we could have steered things in a different direction often. We could have stopped what happened long before that last night, and we didn’t make it. For me it was because I was too focused on myself and not enough on my community and what was best for them. Simply put, I just wasn’t there when they died. I don’t know what I would or could have done. “

As part of his own healing process, he made it his business to identify every member of the Peoples Temple who appeared in photos taken in Jonestown. “If there was even one person whose name I couldn’t remember, I put that photo aside and went on and I would do anything to remember that one person,” he explained. “It might sound like a small thing, you know, given the devastation of Jonestown, but that’s where I found my cure.”

Bastardi feedback on Hurricane Henri – will you participate?

This post is from an email I received from Joe. It has no changes compared to yesterday’s forecast.

When it comes to snow storm forecasts, there is always a negative mood until it starts to snow. And rightly so. So many predictions have not been proven and until the snow is on the ground it is not confirmed.

Posted by Joe Bastardi

I have received texts and e-mails, and rightly so, many with good arguments, since Henri has not yet done what I expect him to do, why he will not. The mood was the opposite yesterday as we were so far ahead here.

But let me make it clear why this is the storm I have always feared. Much of this has to do with its prediction endgame.

Most of the hurricanes that hit the NE hug land and draw in dry air. Henri obviously doesn’t. Carol and 38 were walking well east of Hatteras and didn’t get that much weaker. 44, Donna, Belle and Gloria hugged the coast more and grew weaker, as did Irene

Henri is in his own world. It’s nowhere near as strong as those storms north, but it’s farther out over the water. and it comes into an area with improved drainage. In 1969, Gerda was shocked by the daylight of meteorologists going from a minimal hurricane to a large one that was colder than the current 12 hours. It went over the Nantucket lightship at 120 miles an hour.

But this storm, this is the storm my father always talked about. Dad graduated in 1965 when he was 35 and I was 10. But even before that, he’d often talked about the idea that there was no reason a storm couldn’t hit New England west of the north. In fact, based on his observations from the big hit years of the 30s, 40s and 50s, he would probably say that it was only a matter of time before

In 1903, a hurricane hit Atlantic City from the southeast. We saw Sandy in 2012 (don’t post me with the Post Tropical label). Virginia Beach arrived from the southeast in 1933; Fran was still moving west from north over Pennsylvania in 1996.

So until tomorrow morning the potential tightening parameter and angle of attack will be a big problem., A minimal hurricane weakening on TS has a 3-5 toot rise. However, the stronger scenario can increase this.

Finally, while Fred didn’t hurricane this season, it went from 1009MB to 993.6MB. Henri was 991MB on the morning scout. but at 6:30 p.m. it had dropped to 989 MB. Indeed, if it falls below 975MB it would be above the Cat 2 we have.

Grace just exploded when she hit the coast. Feedback is a wild thing. You have 2 views on this, you have me, biased to the extreme, always looking for it because I understand the power of nature and as Neil Frank used to say, the ability to make the forecaster look like a fool and be humble vs today when we see people being shocked or blaming climate change. The hurricane model’s 931MB would never be reached, but it told us the parameters are there for deepening. The weather loves to go to extremes, just as it does the opposite way.

Years ago I broached the case of the late Rush Limbaugh when he claimed the National Hurricane Center had exaggerated storms. Part of that was my beef in the years when nearby storms were more underestimated than exaggerated.

My point is that there is no hype at NHC. right or wrong, they are straight shooters. Rather, I’m extremely biased because the weather loves to go to extremes, although it doesn’t do it all the time unless it’s because of climate change or whatever. Will Henri be a role model? All the players are there and so are my concerns. But it wouldn’t be climate change. only nature does what it can

Manny Pacquiao could be carried out after loss to Yordenis Ugas, however his legacy is considered one of a sort

3:55 AM ET

  • Mike CoppingerESPN

LAS VEGAS — Manny Pacquiao sits in the ring in front of the media, sunglasses covering his freshly stitched face. The shades help Pacquiao avoid detection of his battered eyes, but he can’t evade the question he knows is facing him; the question he perhaps can’t answer for himself.

Is this the end?

Yordenis Ugas might have helped bring some clarity to his answer, as he earned a clear victory over Pacquiao Saturday night. Two years ago, it was a different story against Keith Thurman, when Pacquiao won his fourth world title at 147 pounds.

But against Ugas, Pacquiao was slow, both with his feet and his hands. He looked old. The punches lacked power. The movement that made Pacquiao a legend was gone. How could he not after 77 pro fights? How could he not when he is staring down his 43rd birthday?

In the end, time always wins, and Pacquiao takes a moment to ponder the weight of what’s happened. He apologizes to the fans for his performance and for losing. Pacquiao says his legs were tight, that preparing on short notice was a challenge.

Manny Pacquiao might have reached the end of his boxing career, but regardless of the outcome in Saturday’s fight against Yordenis Ugas, his legacy as an eight-division world champion is undeniable. AP Photo/John Locher

“In my heart, I want to continue [to] fight,” Pacquiao says at the postfight news conference. “But I have to consider, also, my body.”

“When our lives are finished inside this world, we can take nothing,” he adds. “In this sport, this is my passion, this is why I’m still here fighting at the age of 42. I’m enjoying it, but sometimes you have to think about the life span of your body.”

That final decision on his fighting future, Pacquiao says, will come another day. In fact, many big decisions await Pacquiao, who is contemplating a presidential run in the Philippines, where he is already a sitting senator. For now, though, his thoughts are focused on boxing, a sport to which he has dedicated the majority of his life.

Despite Saturday’s outcome, if this is indeed it for Pacquiao’s fistic career, his legacy is secure, as it has long been. Pacquiao has reigned at the top of the sport with a career that has spanned four decades. He has been a champion in eight weight classes.

Manny Pacquiao tells Bernardo Osuna he’s considering retirement after losing to Yordenis Ugas via unanimous decision.

A seminal victory over Marco Antonio Barrera stamped his arrival as a bona fide superstar in 2003. He defeated Barrera again four years later to go along with two wins over the great Erik Morales. Two more triumphs versus Juan Manuel Marquez and another two against Timothy Bradley Jr. — all of them current or future hall of famers.

Those are just the fighters he owns multiple wins over. There’s the destruction of Miguel Cotto in 2009, undoubtedly Pacquiao’s peak. The one-punch KO of Ricky Hatton. And the bone-shattering win over Antonio Margarito. One victory, above all, reigns supreme for Pacquiao all these years later.

“De La Hoya,” Pacquiao told ESPN on Thursday, referring to the 2008 beatdown of Oscar De La Hoya that truly shot him to superstardom. “Because [I went up in weight] from 135 to 147, [which is] really hard to accomplish.”

You can say that about pretty much everything Pacquiao has done inside of a boxing ring. Despite all of his accolades, the championships and signature wins, Pacquiao will always be measured against one man and one man only: Floyd Mayweather.

“I feel so bad [about] that fight with Mayweather, because I think the fans are not satisfied,” Pacquiao said of his performance against Mayweather. “We wanted to [satisfy the] expectations of the fans.”

“It’s this,” Pacquiao said, lifting his hands high to illustrate those expectations. “But the fight is like this,” he added, lowering his hands toward his lap. “I feel bad because my concern is not only for myself; my concern is only the fans. Because boxing is my passion, I love doing this for the fans.”

play

0:40

Yordenis Ugas stuns Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas to retain his title in front of a packed crowd at T-Mobile Arena.

That 2015 loss to Mayweather is the primary difference when comparing their legacies. There’s also the uncompetitive nature of the fight. One could argue Pacquaio wasn’t at the height of his powers, and despite being two years older at the time, Mayweather was the fresher fighter. Consider also the torn rotator cuff Pacquiao dealt with entering the bout.

Still, their 2015 bout shattered revenue records, and it raised Pacquiao’s profile even higher. And while Mayweather won that fight, there was, for some time, an argument to be made that Pacquiao’s longevity would allow him to build a better overall résumé than Mayweather by the time his career was over.

For all of the people who wrote Pacquiao off following that fight, here’s the run he went on following that landmark showdown: a TKO win over Lucas Matthysse — Pacquiao’s only finish since the Cotto fight — and victories over Jessie Vargas, Thurman and Bradley. Pacquiao scored knockdowns in all three fights, proving he still maintained power during the later stage of his career.

Following the third fight with Bradley, Pacquiao said in the ring that he was retiring. That was in April 2016. And yet on this Saturday night more than five years later, there he was.

And two years after Mayweather retired at 50-0 with a novelty fight against Conor McGregor, Pacquiao beat Thurman, who at that point was an undefeated welterweight champion with real chops.

Yordenis Ugas appeared to be more comfortable than Manny Pacquiao throughout their fight on Saturday. AP Photo/John Locher

But this time around, after losing to Ugas, it seems like the end really should come next.

If this truly is it for Pacquiao, the sport of boxing will miss Pacquiao, a fighter that has evolved in so many ways over the years. When he catapulted to the top of the pound-for-pound lists in the early 2000s, Pacquiao was blasting opponents out left and right. It wasn’t just the brutality he displayed in the ring; it was the way he juxtaposed that violence with an easygoing demeanor and perpetual smile outside of it.

The blinding hand speed. The way he glided around the ring to deliver his two-fisted attack with five-, six- and seven-punch combinations. The courage he showed against Morales in their first meeting. The way he rebounded from that jaw-dropping knockout loss to Marquez. Pacquiao has been synonymous with boxing for the greater part of the last 20 years.

There’s perhaps never been a fighter so adored the world over. Even Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson had plenty of detractors during their heyday. But not Manny Pacquiao, a man with a golden smile one moment and a blistering punch the next.

So if this is the end, farewell, Manny Pacquiao. You made boxing fun. You made boxing great. You made boxing inspiring.

CDC recommends vacationers at excessive threat for Covid issues keep away from cruises

The Royal Caribbean cruise ship will be seen on the Hudson River in New York City, United States, on August 18, 2021 as the region’s first cruise ship docks back in New York Harbor.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday that travelers at high risk of serious complications from Covid-19 should avoid cruises regardless of their vaccination status.

The updated guidelines also recommended that travelers who are not fully vaccinated should not cruise.

The new council follows several coronavirus outbreaks reported on board cruise lines, according to the CDC.

While the agency doesn’t introduce the same masking requirements that apply to planes, trains, and other public transportation, it suggested that face-covering be worn for cruise passengers in common areas.

“The virus that causes Covid-19 spreads easily between people in close proximity on board ships, and the likelihood of getting Covid-19 on cruise lines is high,” the CDC said in its updated guidance.

The agency advised all travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, to get tested one to three days before a cruise and three to five days after their return. Anyone taking a cruise should be in quarantine for seven days after returning, even if they tested negative for the virus.

The new policy comes just a week after the Belize Tourism Board announced that 27 people on board a Carnival cruise tested positive for Covid.

During Friday’s extended trading, Carnival Cruises shares fell more than 2%, Norwegian Cruise Line shares fell nearly 3%, and Royal Caribbean Cruises shares fell more than 2%.

After the industry closed at the beginning of the pandemic due to multiple outbreaks on board ships, the CDC has enforced strict guidelines to prevent similar events from occurring.

Of the three cruise lines, Royal Caribbean was the first to return to operations and had few cases on board ships, which was the target, according to CEO and Chairman Richard Fain.

Royal Caribbean and Carnival have allowed some unvaccinated passengers on board ships, but Norwegian has not.

Norwegian even filed a lawsuit against Florida surgeon general to halt a state ban that prevented companies from requiring customers to provide proof of Covid vaccination. The cruise company was granted a temporary stay in enforcement, but Florida has filed an appeal.

Sha’Carri Richardson Provides Fiery Submit-Race Interview After Ending Final In opposition to Jamaican Olympic Crew: ‘Rely Me Out If You Need To’

Sha’Carri Richardson made her return to track and field Saturday, facing off against the Jamaican Olympic team that swept the Tokyo Olympics.

Racing for the first time since her suspension for marijuana use–which caused her to miss out on competing in the Olympics–Sha’Carri’s much anticipated return was met with disappointment after she finished last in Nike’s Prefontaine Classic–Women’s 100 meter race.

Jamaican gold medalist Elaine Sherah-Thompson clenched first and set a personal best in the race while her fellow Jamaican Olympic teammates finished second and third.

As the Jamaican Olympic team swept again, reporters focused on Sha’Carri, who gave a post-race interview after placing ninth.

She celebrated her own return to the sport and expressed she was not down about her loss.

“It was a great return back to the sport,” Sha’Carri Richardson said. “I wanted to be able to come and perform having a month off, dealing with all I was dealing with. I am not upset with myself at all. This was one race. I’m not done.”

Then Sha’Carri addressed her critics.

“You know what I’m capable of. Count me out if you want to,” she said. “Talk all that s**t you want, ‘cause I’m here to stay. I’m not done. I’m the sixth fastest woman in this game, ever! And can’t nobody ever take that from me. Congratulations to the winners. Congratulations to the people that won, but they’re not done seeing me yet.”

You can watch the race and Sha’Carri’s post-race interview below:

Shortly after the race, Sha’Carri began to trend on social media. Some celebrities celebrated the Jamaican sprinters’ victories while others shared words of encouragement for Sha’Carri.

As Sha’Carri continued to trend, officials with the Prefontaine Classic reported that she had withdrawn from the 200-meter race that day.
