In the celebrity series for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, music superstar Adele sat on the sidelines. Her location gave her the best view of the biggest game in the game on Saturday night.
And because of her reaction to this piece, she’s now part of a very fun internet meme.
She watched from the baseline as Giannis Antetokounmpo dunk an alley-oop pass from Jrue Holiday to give the Bucks a three-point lead over hosts Sun, 13.5 seconds behind in the fourth quarter. Phoenix’s Chris Paul fouled Giannis while in the air to make it a one. Milwaukee won 123-119 and took a 3-2 lead.
The images of her facial (and voice) expression during the dun took the internet (including some SN detectives) on a journey through their discography to find just the right QT.
